｜虹 īris ｜A Seven-day Performance Happening
At the beginning of 2023, after three-year of being bound by COVID-19, let's have a 7-day tour of the interactive performance breaking time and space, physical clothing and emptying ourselves, perceiving the nascent originality and nature. We are honored to invite Pang Jing, performance artist in Hong Kong, who will hold the performance at iisuArt Space for 7 days, and she will continue her work - “The Mysterious Plant” in “虹 īris”. In these days, she will use the plant and seven-colour of the rainbow to construct an instant and irreversible occurrence.

2023伊始，經歷被新冠束縛的三年，讓我們來一場掙脫時間空間、身體服飾、放空升騰自我的互動行為7日遊，感受原始與自然的初生。我們榮幸邀請到香港行為藝術家彭靖在iisuArt Space空間內進行為期七日的現場行為藝術，藝術家將延續她的個人作品——「神秘的植物」，衍生出新年的第一件作品「虹 īris」。在這七天裏，她以構成彩虹的七色元素與植物建構一個即時性、可一不可再的發生。
｜虹īris ｜First day: Walk｜Red｜
The whole space was covered with canvas on the first day, starting with the seven colours. Bananas and pineapple leaves stand in the form of the totem with the dead ones rising and falling with the body. Red flowers are scattered, and the circular turntable rotates rapidly, blurring the world. Perhaps it is not the disk that rotates but ourselves.
Moving forward, backwards, left or right, fast or slow, the walk presents in different ways, constantly touching the body's limit boundary. The strength of the body and the plant are overlapping and spiral. After the rain, the smoke of the candle and the plants penetrated each other, wearing the scent of the sky. The answer to magic is balance. Release, run and breathe. What you see here is the secret summons of the body and plants.
第一日，整個空間鋪滿畫布，七色以這裡為起點。蕉葉、大樹菠蘿葉圖騰式的站立擺放，枯葉隨著身體揚起又落下，紅花散落，圓形轉盤，飛速轉動，世界變得朦朧，或許轉動的不是圓盤，而是我們自己。
前進、後退，或左、或右，行走呈現出不同的方式，快或慢，身體的極限邊界，不斷觸達。
身體力量、植物的力量，縱橫交疊，盤旋而上，蠟燭的煙霧香氣氤氳、雨後的植物還有天空的味道，互相沾染，維持平衡的方法，魔力才是答案。釋放、奔跑、喘息，你在這裡看到什麼，便是身體和植物的隱秘傳喚。

｜虹īris｜Second Day: Empty｜Orange｜
Second day, there are more pauses during the performance, emerging with orange, slapped and cleaned. The leaves are stained with pigment and smeared with the body. The turntable is cleaned and slowly filled. The strength of the body collided with the orange, and it cuts through the air and hits the wall, leaving one stroke after another on the canvas. The strength, trace and acting force of the body changes from intangible to concrete in an instant, breaking through its own limitations, and come out bit by bit. Sensing and touching the leaf itself with the skin is the oracle-like smile, soothing anxiety.
第二日，拍打、清掃，橙色開始出現，時間有了更多的停頓。葉子染上顏料，用身體塗抹。圓盤被清理乾淨，又慢慢被充盈。身體的力量碰撞在橙子上，橙又劃破空氣，撞擊在牆上，最後在畫布上留下一筆又一筆。身體的力量、痕跡、作用力，在瞬間由無形轉為具象，突破自身的侷限，一點一點迸發出來。用皮膚感知和觸摸葉片本身，神諭般的微笑，是安撫焦灼的良藥。

｜虹īris｜Third Day: Trumble｜Yellow｜
On the third day, it is the call from mother and the earth. It is the child, and the divinity of nature. Rolling, bumping, running, crouching, body and space are immerged, and you will be surprised why everything are integrated in great harmony. The orange is peeled off with fragrances and is bloomed with wildness. The space surrounded by walls seems to be transformed into a jungle, in which elf jumps through. The silver thread tugs the banana and the dead leaves with the sound of the trees, ending with abruption. The heavy shackles are removed with broken disorder, using all parts of the body to quietly present the will of the God.
第三日，是母親，是大地的召喚。是孩子，是自然的神性。翻滾，撞擊，奔跑，趴伏，身體和空間融為一體，你會驚訝，為何一切渾然天成。橙被剝開，香氣四溢，野性綻放。四壁環繞的空間彷彿變身叢林，精靈在其中跳躍。銀線牽動蕉葉，又牽動枯葉，樹聲響動，一霎那又戛然而止。沈重的枷鎖不斷被卸下，無序被一點點打破，不斷伸展，使用軀體的每一部分，宇宙的旨意靜謐呈現。

｜虹īris｜Forth Day: Attach｜Green｜
On the fourth day, the red cotton thread are intertwined, and the balls are thrown up and fell, presenting with the winding track in magical randomness. The flying blades are restrained and tightened, and the mastery of power gets confronted again. The plants are lifted by magic with struggles and messes, turning itself into living creatures and ending in still. The leaves are torn into thin strips in hands, cut through the air, and whip on the canvas, leaving the lingering charm in the space. The green blooms on the wall, startling everyone.
第四日，紅線交織，線球被拋起又墜落，顯現出纏繞的軌跡，帶著魔力的隨機性。靈動飛舞的葉片被牽制緊箍，力量的掌握又變成對抗。魔法將植物托舉，掙扎、凌亂，植物變成活物，最後靜止。葉片在手中撕成細條，劃破空氣，抽打在畫布上，輕重緩急，餘韻迴響在空間中，綠色在牆面上綻開，在心中留下不可遏制的震盪。

｜虹īris｜Fifth Day: Shuttle｜Indigo｜
Covered with dense red cotton threads in the space, every step is attached to it. Her body is attached to the rolling board as if flying at low altitude, leaving the green all the way. She jumps to approach the highest place and slides covered with the green layer bg layer. She constantly shakes the pineapple and banana leaves hanging in the center, and the pigments are constantly shaken off and splashed. Finally, she hugs it with her arms with the healing magic of plants spreading from the whirlpool to the outer circle, confronting everyone.
第五日，穿梭。
紅線密佈在整個空間，每走一步都是牽動。身體覆蓋在滑板上，好似在低空飛行，所到之處留下綠色的痕跡。跳躍、觸達最高處，滑行、綠色一層層覆蓋。不斷搖動中央懸掛的菠蘿葉、蕉葉，顏料不斷抖落、飛濺。最後又將其擁入懷中，植物的治癒魔力從漩渦不斷向外圈擴散，帶來撫慰人心的能量。

｜虹īris｜Sixth Day: Burn｜Blue｜
Sixth day, the flame.
Her body is covered with blue and the flashing spirit of fireworks, like a divine creature from another world, and you may smell the sea water in this jungle. Suspended in the air, plants sway and undulate, just like waves. Water and fire, these two common and incompatible elements in nature, gradually present with a complete picture. Sacrificial prayer, piety and mystery with ancient magic. Audience on site witnesses everything, and the flame flashes through their eyes with the paper burned into ashes, instantly becomes eternal.
第六日，火焰。
藍色塗滿全身和閃爍的焰火之靈，彷彿異世界的神性生物，又好像能在叢林中聞到海水的味道。懸浮在空中的植物，搖晃起伏，是波浪。水與火，這兩種自然界中常見又互不相容的元素，漸漸呈現出完整的畫面。祭祀般的祈求，虔誠又神秘，古老的魔法，現場的觀眾凝視雙眼，正視一切，火焰閃過眼睛，紙化為灰燼，瞬間變成永恆。

｜虹īris｜Seventh Day: Echo｜Violet｜
On the seventh day, the echo.
Pang Jing pours water from one cup to another repeatedly, empty and full, with the trajectory of move becoming a circle. The brush made of plants, heavily beats on the canvas. She claps her hands like beating drums, noisy as angry rain, urgently hitting the floor beyond doubt. She waters the plants that have left the soil with her legs constantly shaking the hanged mixture, gently and violently from time to time. The serene takes root in everyone's heart with the rainfall one after another.
第七日，迴響。
將水從一杯倒入另一杯，循環往復，空了又滿，滿了又空，行動的軌跡亦是一個圓。用植物製成的筆刷，傾盡全力拍打在畫布上，手掌也一聲聲敲出鼓點，嘈雜如憤怒的大雨，急促、擲地有聲、不容質疑。用水澆灌已經離開土壤的植物，腿不斷撼動被懸掛的混合體，時而輕緩時而激烈，大雨下了一場又一場，安寧在每個人心中生根發芽。
