In my public performance [Orange 20], I broke my usual performance pattern. In the past two years, most of the time, I was like a tornado, with aggressive waves and storms in my live performance. I am attracted to chaotic happenings and intense situations, whereas I always find deep reflections and inner energy that are triggered by intense body movements. Somehow, it inspired my unconscious mind and unleashed something I wouldn’t be aware of when I was in my conscious daily routine.
However, I found myself in a very different state of mind during PAS#82, in which, I was very well-organised and thoughtful. Somehow, subtle changes happened when I focused on the calm simple actions, in which, peeling the oranges in a quiet and peaceful way.
After the public presentation, “The scent of the oranges just like a huge wave!”, Johannes said. “Your action and sharing touch me a lot! Thank you!”, Judith said. “It’s good to see you break your pattern!”, Vivian said.
I’m so glad to be part of PAS #82, to explore performance art in various approaches, to connect with artists from different cities, and to create unique body experiences with an open mind.
